Keyholder- San Antonio

SUMMARY: A Shift Lead/Key Holder is responsible for all duties and requirements of a retails sales associate but is also responsible for opening and/or closing the store, setting and disarming the alarm system, and handling additional supervisory and customer service tasks. Must be team-focused and punctual.

AVAILABILITY: Flexible Scheduling Monday- Saturday, Must be able to open and close

LOCATION(S): San Antonio, TX

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carries out all duties of a retail sales associate plus the following:

Carry keys and alarm codes; open and close store, disarm and arm alarm system

Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and deliveries staff outside of regular business hours

Perform and supervise daily procedures

Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area

Monitor and assist cashiers and other retail staff; assign daily duties

Help train and support new team members

Provide customer-focused service; welcome customers to the store and assist them with requests

Perform product demos and explain product features to customers

Handle managerial tasks when the general and assistant managers are unavailable

Ensure that all employees adhere to corporate processes and safety standards

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Indirectly supervises 1-6 employees within the sales department of their specific store.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include helping train employees; planning, assigning, and directing work as laid out by upper management

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED

Three to five years of retail experience

Customer- and team-focused attitude

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and approachable

Basic computer proficiency

Familiarity with point of sale systems

Maintain a well-groomed and professional demeanor

Adaptable; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Open availability; dependable and punctual attendance
