Company Description
We know the majority of our patients and their relatives well enough that it is a warmer interaction than what I have seen had when I was working at a larger practices. We have patients who aged out of our practice and now bring their kids and refer the in-laws.
I have the opportunity to manage some conditions that are of interest to me while specialists are readily available if I need to refer what seems to be beyond my scope of expertise.
I am a solo practitioner working at one location with patients from all ethnic groups. some of which may be fighting each other in their home country while making friendships at my office.

There are several positions open depending on what you are looking for including full time, part time and locum tenens. We hardly ever have to admit to the hospital. I can count on one hand how many inpatients I had during each one of the last 5 years. I do see some of my newborns at the hospital but the majority of the newborns and pediatric inpatients are examined by the hospitalists.
I hardly ever get paged.

The office is located in Northcenter, which is part of Lakeview in Chicago.
While it is in the city, it feels like being in the suburbs in a beautiful neighborhood with excellent public and private schools, parks, restaurants and pubs.
There is public transportation including train, bus, bike stations and ample street parking without permit restrictions.
There are plenty of restaurants, family style pubs, grocery stores, pharmacies, family owned stores, theaters, farmer markets, fairs and fests within walking distance from the office.
There are theaters within walking distance and the Magnificent Mile and the cultural district, museums, theaters, the Chicago Symphony, opera house and history are within 10 minutes driving in downtown Chicago filled with skyscrapers, museums, theaters, the Chicago Symphony, opera house and history..
Lake Michigan is just a couple of 4 miles away if you like swimming, boating, canoeing or Kayaking. There are nearby rivers, lagoons and forest preserves.

I am looking for board certified pediatricians who love what they do, have initiative, good solving problem skills and are invested in their job. Linguistics skills in addition to English are a plus.

Competitive salary according to experience. There is 401 K plan with profit sharing, matching and non matching contributions. Liability insurance.

Flexible to accommodate the needs of all parties involved for all positions (Locum, part time and full time)
