Job Summary:
As a Salesforce and Application Engineer/Administrator at Wesley, you will play a pivotal role in our Application Services Team. We are seeking a proactive individual to help continuously enhance and improve our business applications and platforms. Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements and feedback, designing and implementing scalable solutions following best practices, and managing the product roadmap. You should be well-versed in change management and governance and be proficient in communicating, prioritizing, and managing business needs while implementing changes. This role is part of an application services team which reports to the CIO. The position is also responsible directly to business units and the ability to connect successfully with non-technical team members is a must. This a role which will have direct contact with managers and users of the systems being supported in a collaborative way. A successful candidate will place business needs at the forefront of their concerns.
The role ideally is located in our Franklin, TN, however remote workers will be considered on a case by case basis. If a remote candidate is selected, there will be required travel to the Franklin, TN office on an as needed and quarterly basis. We will hire remote workers in the following states: CO, CT, FL, IL, KY, MI, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT.
Duties/Responsibilities:This is a dynamic and business-oriented role with diverse responsibilities, including:
Maintaining our Salesforce Backups and Data Archiving
Working with Salesforce platform integrations, applications and tools
Identifying and collecting business requirements, translating them into scalable and best-practice solutions
Designing and developing automations with Flow Builder
Configuring Salesforce settings including Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Lightning Pages, Record Types, Validation Rules, Dynamic Forms, Quick Actions, Custom Settings, Approval Processes, Reports and Dashboards
Managing user settings including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Public Groups, Chatter Groups, and Organization-Wide Defaults
Developing solutions within a sandbox environments and releasing updates through modern DevOps tools such as Gearset
Maintaining technical documentation
Identifying and optimizing under-utilized platform features
Managing data to enhance Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as necessary
Proactively maintaining the system, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Salesforce Health Check, and Salesforce Optimizer
Assisting with user support tickets for issue resolution and feature requests
Implementing and managing our Salesforce integrations with external applications including NetSuite, Calendly and DocuSign
Skills/Abilities:
Required:
Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales Cloud
Certified Salesforce Administrator
Independent systems thinking, willingness to collaborate ideas with the full team
Preferred:
Understanding of basic triggers, Lightning Web Components, Apex code knowledge
Experience building and maintaining Salesforce integrations with external applications using middleware such as Celigo, Make, and Zapier
Additional Salesforce certifications are helpful including Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer II, Javascript Developer
Salesforce admin tools: Gearset, WorkBench, Salesforce Inspector, Data Loader, Own BackUp, Own Seeding, Zapier, Celigo
Salesforce Developer Tools: Visual Studio Code, Postman API
Salesforce Appexchange Apps: DocuSign, Formstack Documents, Zoom Phone, and Distribution Engine
Education and Experience:
