Freight Handler/Scanner Job Responsibilities:

·       RF Scanner experience required

·       Load or Unload product on a trailer continuously by hand

·       Label and scan product accurately

·       Wrap product using industrial plastic wrap

·       Attention to Detail

·       Ability to lift 50 lbs.

·       Safe Worker that values a clean work area

·       Ensures that product received is recorded correctly.

·       Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.

·       Maintains cleanliness of work area.

·       Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

·       Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures

·       Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.

·       Fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule.

·       Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Freight Handler/Scanner Job Requirements

·       The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a Shipping environment or warehouse experience loading and unloading

·       Operate RF Scanners to ensure accurate inventory counts

·       Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and guidelines

·       Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting

·       Reliable form of transportation.

·       Proven and track record of work stability.
