Forklift Operator

Our client, in the distribution industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator Order Selector to join their team. As an operator & selector, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting Product delivery.  The ideal candidate will have forklift and order selecting experience which will align successfully in the organization.

 Job Title:  Forklift Order Selector

Location:  Kingston, NY 12401

Pay Range:  $20 per hour to start

What’s the Job?

• Shift is Monday - Friday, 12 noon - 8:30pm - your weekends are free.
• Select cases or drums of product using a tablet or scan gun.
• Palletize products and shrink wrap for delivery.
• Load pallets into trucks using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Off-load empty pallets from returning delivery trucks.
• General warehouse and cleaning duties as needed.

 What’s Needed?

• Experience with electric pallet jacks and forklifts (propane or electric).
• Experience with order selecting and picking.
• Basic computer skills - will use a tablet and scan gun.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
