Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in accounts payable processes? We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for an industry leading construction company in Rancho Cucamonga!
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and match invoices, statements, and purchase orders.
• Resolve problems raised by Department Heads, vendors, and administrative staff.
• Enter and upload invoices via Vista accounting software.
• Post invoices and payments to the Vista accounting system.
• Regularly review and reconcile vendor accounts/statements.
• Manage supplier releases and preliminary notices from subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project management and departments to obtain proper invoice documentation.
• Process subcontractor payment applications and invoices accurately.
• Select invoices for payment during weekly review with Controller.
• Prepare weekly check runs and ensure timely payment processing.
• Maintain recurring cost spreadsheet for General Administration.
• Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries promptly.
• File and organize vendor invoices and payment copies.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to Accounting and Operations Departments.
Skills Required:
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
