Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Programing of PLCs & HMIs
• Perform testing of panel, program, and equipment before equipment ships to customer
• Commissioning and start-up of equipment at the customer’s facility
• Troubleshoot existing panels/equipment remotely
• Design control panels for an Original Equipment Manufacturer
• Travel to customer’s facility to troubleshoot existing panels/equipment
• Work with the sales department to allow them to develop accurate quotes
• Pursue continued professional development
• Assist with training to electrical control technicians
• Encourage a positive atmosphere

Requirements:

• BSEE or BSEET preferred
• 1+ years’ experience 2+ preferred
• 2+ years industry experience preferred
• 10 to 25% travel
