Systems Engineer

What you get to do every day

- Test, configure, install, and maintain application software, system management tools, and operating systems

- Take preventive action to safeguard the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

- Track an assay application performance for potential bottlenecks, determine possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to achieve those fixes

- Register and conserve custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

- Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support

- Oversee and follow up on all installed systems and infrastructure

- Administrate backup, security, and redundancy strategies

- Partake in the design of information and operational support systems- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems is required for success at this position
