To assist the Director of Compliance role by providing organized support in various Compliance capacities, with an emphasis to maximize income.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate and pursue annual rent increase processes for all apartments across the 2Llife portfolio including HUD Project-based subsidy OCAFs and subsequent Rent Schedules, project-based MRVP and Section 8, and mobile housing vouchers.

  • Maintain schedule, track timing of submission processes, collect updated data to transfer onto requests, submit to agencies, monitor accurate responses and collection of same.

  • Conduct data entry into industry software of Base Rent changes, Interim resident share changes, and annual portfolio Income limit changes.

  • Complete the annual submission of HOME Rent Approvals (tracking due dates, supplying/transferring updated resident income and recertification information; monitoring for HOME and LIHTC maximum rent limits.)

  • Track new RE Development LIHTC compliance projects: monitor application intake, and lottery waitlist interview/verification activity on spreadsheets, communicating/meeting with applicants for interviews and follow-up; corroborate by email with housing authority needs for documents; qualify and certify applicant file in software, upload to mandatory consultant for approvals, etc

  • Coordinate and support properties in annual rent increase processes for tax credit, moderate income and unrestricted apartments


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run / monitor monthly EIV Master Binder reports, contacting and tracking site staff to follow-up on issues

  • Complete various quarterly reporting such as Leventhal MDFA; and for JJ Carroll City of Boston Occupancy reports

  • Prepare Spectrum End of Year reports for portfolio’s LIHTC sites and complete related Certificates of Continuing Compliance forms.

  • Other duties as assigned


PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • 1-year of related experience required, 3 years preferred

  • Certified Occupancy Specialist by NCHM

  • Fair Housing trained

  • LIHTC C3P certified by Spectrum preferred, or pending

  • Detail oriented and highly organized, quick learner

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Google calendar / sheets
