Director of Finance

Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Finance Professional with at least 5 years of experience in finance or
accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the
company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. This person must be an
outside the box thinker with a willingness to seek out and lead the implementation of new ideas and
improvements as we look to both grow and improve.

In addition to managing the finance function, this role will also involve leading a team of up to 5
individuals and collaborating with other departments to drive business success. This position offers

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Manage the financial leadership and financial strategy of WFR and all the assets WFR owns
and manages.
• Maintain good working relationships with banks, CPAs, venders, WFR personnel,
stakeholder groups, and boards and act as the point person for all tax and auditing activities.
• Oversee all accounting functions with accuracy and detail.
• Design the short and long-term financial strategy and set company financial policies.
• Ensure creditability of the company finance team by developing and maintaining timely and
accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
• Find efficiencies and spearhead improvements to our company financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company financial reporting requirements.
• Be the subject matter expert for all industry rules and regulations and attend
trainings/seminars to keep up with the latest regulations and procedures.
• Oversee 2-5 individuals in accounting roles.
• Take direct responsibility for daily/weekly accounting functions as needed.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5 years in a financial role preferably as a controller or CPA
