We are in search of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Application Engineer where you will be responsible for participating and advising in all phases of a multi-year project including analyzing, designing, modeling, testing, training and pre- and post- Go live support. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Thermon in identifying pain points leading to best practice recommendations.

By providing technical guidance and execution on the implementation of D365, you'll not only drive impact within our IT organization, your work and consultation will allow teams across the organization to reach their goals. Join our team and play a key role in this transformation!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the existing AX2012 system, ensuring its stability and reliability during the migration phase.
  • Collaborate with project team to analyze business requirements and assist in the design and configuration of the D365 environment.
  • Customize and develop solutions within D365 to meet specific business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for D365 related issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
  • Train end-users and provide documentation as needed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest D365 updates and best practices; finding opportunities to further optimize usage.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of functional experience with Microsoft's D365 or similar ERP platform; experience with Finance and Operations modules preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience developing solutions in X++ OR C#.
  • Experience working in a SOX environment. Experience with extensible data security (XDS) policies preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to do Code Reviews
