Landscaping Construction Estimator

Marcum Search is assisting our client in their search for a Construction Estimator for landscape projects in the east end of Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.

Summary

The Construction Estimator will be an integral part of the company's expansion efforts, taking charge of creating detailed estimates for a variety of landscaping projects. This role requires a thorough analysis of project scope, specifications, and accompanying documents to develop accurate cost and revenue proposals. The Estimator will consider all facets of the projects, including costs, labor, materials, and services, to ensure that each project is completed profitably and to the satisfaction of the clients, while upholding the company's high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present comprehensive estimates for landscaping projects.
• Review project scope, specifications, and documentation to accurately assess costs.
• Prepare cost and revenue proposals, ensuring a profitable return on investment.
• Guarantee the successful completion of projects within the stipulated budget and to client satisfaction.
• Maintain the quality and reputation of the company through adherence to standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated organization, communication, and mathematical skills.
• Experience in general estimating and construction.
• Knowledge of Acumatica is considered beneficial but not essential.
• A track record of managing estimates and completing projects profitably.
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.

Salary based upon experience but can range from $75K to $100k annually.
