Construction Site Supervisor

High-end residential builder is seeking a full-time Site Supervisor. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing the construction of high-end homes on the East End. Must have the ability to read blueprints, supervise and coordinate subcontractors, and be deadline and detail oriented. Salary commensurate with experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction sites to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and with the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include managing Subcontractors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing budgets to ensure projects meet financial goals. We are looking for someone who is a great leader, detail-oriented and has excellent problem-solving skills.

• Supervise daily tasks and activities on-site.
• Coordinate, oversee, and manage crews.
• Track progress of ongoing projects to ensure timely completion according to expected progress.
• Oversees construction sites, sub-contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with construction team and management.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with regulations and contractual agreements.
• Read plans, drawings, and special engineered shops.
• Write up and upload daily logs and photos using Construction Online.
• Respond promptly to project-related inquiries and communicate project status updates to upper management.
• Coordinate and handle material purchases, building supplies, and deliveries.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Proven working experience in construction management.
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and written.
• Flexible and comfortable with short deadlines
