Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Office Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and administrative support to our employees, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking patient in/out, balancing daily deposit, closing the day, and coordinating front office activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development, updating, and maintaining relevant office procedures
  • Work within an IEHR (ModMed- EMA)
  • Answer multiline phone system
  • Use Klara to communicate patient messages
  • Patient reminder calls
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Work at the front desk; check patients in/out, run insurance eligibility, collect deductibles and copayments, obtain insurance referrals and prior authorizations
  • Work under pressure with the ability to multitask
  • Balance and close your daily batch
  • Assist patients with insurance questions
  • Address and resolve customer concerns with a professional attitude

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferred
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Use of EMA ModMed EHR a PLUS
  • One year of dermatology experience a PLUS
  • Previous experience as an Office Coordinator or in a similar position in medical office for at least 3+ years
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Google Workspace and Google Drive
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
