Seasonal Vacation Rental and Housekeeping Inspector - Work as little as 2 days for 5 hrs or more!

Mill Pond Realty and Vacation Rentals in Saugatuck, Michigan, is looking to hire 2 part-time Vacation Rental Housekeeping Inspectors who will oversee the quality control of our vacation rental properties. We are a full-service vacation rental company, and we manage numerous properties in Saugatuck, Douglas Fennville, South Haven, Allegan, and the south end of Holland.

Once guests have checked out and our cleaning team has cleaned the property, this position will be required to walk through the properties and inspect the rental for quality cleaning and maintenance.

The primary role and responsibility of this position is to analyze, inspect, and ensure each property has been thoroughly prepared for the next guest's arrival. Inspectors will be required to complete certain tasks at each property in a timely manner.

This position is Seasonal in the peak season (March through October). Here are a few things that candidates should expect:

• Inspectors will be required to inspect several properties per day.
• Inspectors must have a smartphone with WIFI, text, calling, and photo capabilities.
• Candidates are to have an excellent driving record.
• The ideal candidate must be able to communicate feedback and constructively critique the work that they are inspecting.

Great position if you are looking for extra hours or just want to work a few hours hours a week. This is a highly physical, fast-paced, and independent role. You will be driving to different homes and walking and moving through the homes and outside areas.

$20+ hourly + mileage if using own car + bonus

We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate must be very detail-oriented with the customer's best interest at heart. This is a very important role within our business! Prior inspection and or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. Each applicant will be thoroughly trained. Candidates must have reliable transportation and excellent driving record, smart phone with WIFI, text, and calling ability, and a positive attitude. Inspectors will be required to communicate feedback and cleanliness issues directly with our team and ensure that any mistakes or issues found during the time of inspection are corrected.

Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check - no exceptions.

• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be eligible to work in The United States
• Must be available by cellular phone throughout your shift
• Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person
• Works well in a team setting or independently
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills
• General knowledge of Internet and cable TV operation
• Available to work at least one weekend day Normal hours 12-5:00
• Ability and willingness to perform light maintenance such, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, wiping, lifting, moving furniture, appliances, etc. when needed
• Job requires constant movement; and must be able to lift and move approximately 35 lbs.
