Currently offering a $5000 sign on bonus! Hourly rates starting at $18.27 with additional $1.50 per hour for afternoon shift, $1.00 per hour for midnight shift, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.


It is the Milieu Staff's primary responsibility to provide day-to-day supervision, care, and guidance to residents assigned to their unit. Milieu Staff provide a safe and healthy treatment milieu designed to meet the emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of the residents. The Milieu Staff provides a positive role model for the residents to emulate and is responsible for teaching a variety of communications, coping, problem solving, and social skills.


DOC Residential Programs


Teens In Transition - Next Step: Programming for up to six young adult males, ages 16-21, in a group residential/apartment style setting. Next Step focuses on community transition to independent living with a treatment based philosophy and a compliment of a correctional component based on a youth's individual needs.


Teens In Transition: Programming for up to 10 young adult males, ages 16-21, in a group residential setting. Teens in Transition focuses on independent living with a treatment based philosophy and a complement of a correctional component based on a youth's individual needs.


Boys Program: Programming for up to six boys, ages 12-16, in a group residential setting. The Boys Program has family style living, a treatment based philosophy and a compliment of a correctional component based on a youth's individual needs.

Requirements:

Candidates must be responsible, mature, self-motivated individuals who posses a desire to work with at-risk youth, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to set firm limits.


Qualifications: must be 21 years of age, have a valid Minnesota driver's license, and have a high-school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education in the Human Service / Law Enforcement fields or equivalent experience is desirable but not mandatory.
