Construction Worker - Full-time

PERIKIN Enterprises is seeking an experienced construction laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various construction tasks, including digging trenches, operating power tools, carrying materials, and other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience working in the construction industry and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging trenches, breaking up concrete, and carrying materials
• Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and hammers
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment from trucks
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and other materials
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Occasional operation of equipment including but not limited to trenchers, mini excavators, forklifts, and skid steers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience working in the construction industry
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to carry up to 30-40 pounds and stand for long periods
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
