JOB SUMMARY: Planted Earth is in search of an enthusiastic Estate Gardening Supervisor who has a passion for gardening, maintaining healthy and vibrant plants, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of outdoor spaces. This individual should be committed to ongoing professional development and growth. The role involves overseeing a wide array of garden environments, from charming courtyard greenery to expansive estate gardens, as well as managing terrace planters and green roofs. A significant aspect of this position is to maintain effective communication with our clients, who share a deep enthusiasm for plants and gardening.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain perennials and annuals in residential gardens
• Perform pruning and shaping of shrubs
• Conduct boxwood hedging
• Ensure overall health and growth of the plants
• Communicate effectively with clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professionalism and attention to detail
• Passion for the outdoors and horticulture
• Knowledge in sound horticultural practices, pest ID, and proper pruning techniques
• Current MD driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
