Salary:

HVAC Install




An Experienced Installer must have the ability to: 


 Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial sites which includes;


  • Installation of package units, condensers, coils, furnaces, high efficiency air filters, air scrubbers, and indoor air quality systems
  • Skillful in the installation of commercial rooftop units (2 ton - 20 ton)
  • In depth knowledge of fabricating equipment & parts in order to meet special needs


 Installation of air distribution


  • Installation of new flexible ducting (R-8 value)
  • Installation and or cut in of new supply registers and return grills
  • Installation of light commercial/spiral duct-work per drawing layout
  • Excels at roughing in duct-work according to drawings and everything associated with this step of the installation process
  • Proficient in installing spiral, commercial and residential ducts in any environment
  • Manage installation of ducts for ventilation purposes


Installation of controls


  • Install new thermostats & thermostat wiring
  • Install and fabricate the compressors, evaporators, various temperature and humidity control components and fuses
  • Install all High and Low Voltage, refrigeration lines, gas piping, etc. associated with the installation of all the equipment previously mentioned


 Installation of copper lines


  • Run refrigerant and conduit lines to condensing units
  • Braze welding (copper welding)
  • Charge units using superheat/subcool method


 Troubleshooting of equipment


  • Repair various parts of air conditioning and heating units by replacing malfunctioned parts
  • Resolve technical problems using testing, measuring, and diagnostic instruments on new installations
  • Maintain all electrical tools and necessary equipment for the installation and repair of HVAC systems
  • Engage in troubleshooting when required
  • Perform commercial wiring and mechanical repair when needed
  • Provide onsite blueprint analyzing & troubleshooting for commercial and residential projects.


Customer relations


  • Ensure proper running order of all systems
  • Prepare documents for the work carried such as installation, maintenance and repair work
  • Coordinate with clients we serve to resolve any issues logistically
