To put the customer at the heart of everything that you do whilst proactively supporting your store manager in leading the team to success, by living the FatFace Vision & Values. Commercially manage your KPI’s set by the store manager and maximize profitability through the retail plan; driving sales, managing costs, and delivering our Brand through the visual proposition. Assist in the development of the crew so they reach their full potential, while ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the FatFace brand and culture to our customers through your team.

Responsibilities:

• Use knowledge of local markets, financial data, retail and company strategy to support the store manager in meeting and exceeding agreed targets for Sales, Payroll and Stock integrity, thereby delivering profit expectations.

• Proactively manage the performance of yourself and your team across all business KPIs. • Assist in the delivery of the successful implementation and maintenance of the brand proposition in your store.

• To ensure that the store is working to budget through effective scheduling, cost controls and crew productivity.

• To hold a full-working knowledge of operational procedures in order to effectively hold the store when required

• To ensure correct procedures are adhered to in a professional manner for your staff and store including cash & stock, health & safety, office, security of premises, key holders and loss prevention. (NB, this list is not exhaustive)

• To deliver excellent customer service standards, keeping the customer at the heart of all decisions, and championing the Fat Face Vision & Values in store

• In the absence of your store manager communicating and liaising with Head Office to influence and maximise the stock package.

• Alongside your Store Manager using commercial creativity to maximise sales opportunities that are unique to your local market and communicating this constructively at all levels.

• To assist your store manager in the recruitment, training and team development, through leading by example and creating a motivating work environment.

• Having awareness of your own development needs and team succession.

• To execute the FatFace Visual proposition to company standards.

• To abide by all FatFace policy and procedures.

• To delegate duties in order to meet the operational needs of the store that supports the Store Manager.

• In the absence of your Store Manager, take on holding responsibilities that ensure the continued success of your store in sales, standards and crew development.

Experience:

• Previous demonstrable experience at retail management level within a recognized brand.

• Demonstrable experience of working with KPIs and sales and performance targets.

• Experience of leading, coaching and managing teams, including recruitment, training, development and performance/disciplinary management.

• Management level experience of operational, stock, IT and cash management systems.

• Experience of working with a multi-channel brand from a store perspective delivering Order in Store/Click and Collect proposition preferable.

• Proven experience of excellent standards of visual merchandising.

• IT literate.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Influencing, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent planning and organization skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Sound understanding of working with a brand. Proven experience in delivering results through others.
