Overview:
As the Director of Nursing at Grace Visits You, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our nursing operations and leading a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care. This position requires an individual who can manage nursing services while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient care and compliance with all regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, direct, and evaluate the nursing staff to ensure quality nursing care across all services.
• Develop and implement nursing department policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and support patient care best practices.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to enhance interdisciplinary communication, optimize patient outcomes, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
• Oversee patient care management to ensure adherence to established standards and practices.
• Prepare and manage the budget for the nursing department, including necessary supplies and equipment.
• Regularly review and respond to department performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advocate for patient needs and maintain a focus on patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
• Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably within a similar healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively handling multiple priorities in a healthcare setting.
• Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
