Second Shift - 2PM - 10PM CST
Must Haves:
- 2-10 years of related experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience machining the Alum, Stainless Steel, Steel, and Inconel or Titanium
- Experience running CNC lathes, CNC Mills, Fadal, HAAS, Mazaks, or Okuma (machines)
Plusses:
- Technical or Military School Training
Day to Day:
A client in Huntsville, AL is seeking several CNC Machinist who will be responsible for producing replacement metal parts, shaping new parts, and operating standard machine tools.
Other job responsibilities:
- Producing replacement parts and new parts in making repairs of metal parts of mechanical equipment
- Interpreting written instructions and specifications
- Planning and laying out of work
- Using a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Setting up and operating standard machine tools
- Shaping of metal parts to close tolerances
- Making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds of machining
- Selecting standard materials, parts, and equipment required for this work and fitting/assembling parts into mechanical equipment
