Manuel Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations - Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts - Program CNC machines using G-code or other programming languages - Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary - Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Machinist - Proficient in basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry - Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation - Experience with milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment - Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Knowledge of plastics injection molding is a plus - Forklift certification is preferred - Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
