Service Technician/ Robotics Technician

Chantland-MHS Company is searching for a full-time Service Technician Robotic Technician. This applicant needs to be trained on and understand Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming software. Will read and understand detailed schematics and programs so as to troubleshoot equipment operating systems. Start-up new equipment to ensure it meets customer specifications. Train on-site operators in the safe and proper functions of material handling equipment. Perform repairs and perform maintenance of existing equipment at customer sites when required. Perform system program modifications as necessary. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with material handling systems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on material handling machinery and equipment. Understand and perform proper lockout/tag out procedures. Take service calls and be available for off shift duty. Perform all activities in a manner that protects and promotes the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, the community and the environment. Know and observe all plant safety rules applicable to your work. Report all unsafe practices and conditions to your supervisor at the first opportunity. Strive to achieve the highest possible product quality, from receipt of an order to delivery to the customer, involving every aspect of the company. Travel will be required throughout the USA.
