Job Summary

The IT Support Technician will provide technical support in the use of company computer hardware, software, systems, networks and office equipment.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Track IT equipment and supply inventories;
  • Provide technical support in the use of company computer hardware, software, systems, networks and office equipment
  • Perform IT related system upgrades
  • Evaluate and install IT related patches/repairs
  • Perform system recoveries
  • Work with Security to maintain data files and monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity
  • Facilitate phone system operation
  • Work with Security to maintain computer assignment and tracking system
  • Handle “Help Desk” questions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to meet and adhere to assigned deadlines
  • Ability to multitask
  • Time management skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication and organization skills
  • Knowledge of computer technology and other devices
  • Troubleshooting skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, however business needs may require additional hours worked;
  • Ability to be on-call
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 85% of shift;
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders in order to complete work tasks;
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds;

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in IT or related field;
  • Access systems experience is preferred;
  • Phone systems experience is preferred;

Monday - Friday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
