Our client, a well-established real estate firm, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Short Hills, NJ. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong background in full-cycle bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations accurately and timely
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Generate month-end and year-end financial reports
- Handle various accounting duties, including journal entries, mortgages, escrows, taxes, owner distributions, and management fees
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a full-charge bookkeeping position
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP standards
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Experience with accounting software, particularly Yardi Voyager, is a notable advantage
- Background in the real estate industry is highly desirable
Salary: $65,000 to $68,000, commensurate with experience.
