Summary / Objective:

As a Painter Helper, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment for painting and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. You will work closely with our experienced painters and team members to ensure the equipment is ready for painting and contribute to the quality of our finished products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, grinding, washing, and cleaning.
• Help with applying body filler and other materials for equipment repair.
• Participate in masking and taping off areas not intended for painting.
• Use rattle cans and occasionally pressure pots to perform touch-up painting.
• Clean paint guns and overspray, replace filters, grease pin holes, hang small parts from paint hanger, and perform other tasks as needed.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist team members with various tasks as needed.
• Learn and adapt to the painting techniques used in the industry.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• No prior experience required, though any painting or related experience is a plus.
• Minimal Travel required.
