NOW HIRING MACHINE OPERATORS- 1st & 3rd SHIFT FOREST CITY

** Previous CONVERTING EXPERIENCE is a PLUS **

SHIFTS:
  • 7am to 7pm; 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on schedule
  • 7pm to 7am; 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on schedule
PAY:
  • 1st shift $18.00
  • 3rd shift $19.50

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Responsible for the setup and operation of machines to produce a quality product that meets or exceeds customers’ requirements
  • Required general knowledge in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, etc…), pneumatics and hydraulics in order to effectively perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
  • Examine parts for defects, such as breakage and excessive wear.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production during machine service.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts to inspect, test and repair.Perform machine change-overs as required while adhering to standards
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Perform all work in accordance with safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Assist in the training of new technicians
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, multimeters, and other test equipment
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Comfortable with not wearing any jewelry, piercings, nail polish
