As digital transformation continues to impact global industries, Corvid is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our accounting team as an Account Clerk. Our growing customer base includes the Department of Defense, NASCAR, the Olympic teams, and several universities. As an Accounting Clerk at Corvid, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense reports, and providing administrative support within the accounting department.


What You’ll Do:

  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including generating invoices, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

  • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining organized financial records both physically and digitally.

  • Handle accounts payable functions, such as verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and processing payments in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to financial transactions.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports as needed.

  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports submitted by employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.

  • Assist in various administrative tasks within the accounting department, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing documentation.


Who We Want:

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated history of success in accounting. Proficiency in fundamental bookkeeping and accounting procedures is essential, as well as a strong understanding of MS Office suite, databases, and accounting software. The candidate must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, with a proven ability to work with numbers. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in Finance or Accounting with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a preference for CPA certification.
