Patients Account Auditor

LHH is looking for a full-time Patient Account Auditor to join our client-growing company in Simi Valley, CA. This role is a 3-month contract that is fully onsite at our client location.

Location: ONSITE in Simi Valley, CA

Duration: 3-month CONTRACT (possibility to extend/convert)

Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8a – 5p

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Review, compare, and audit patient account data to identify errors.
• Conduct research on patient accounts to ensure accuracy of received data.
• Input updated information accurately.
• Correct duplicate information or files, as well as incorrect postings.
• Void incorrect accounts and charges.
• Post manual corrections and process patient refunds.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance, payment processing, credits and refunds, and interpretation of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
