Job Description
TITLE: Emergency Department Manager / Nursing opportunity
Location: Kingman, KS

•Must be an RN with the state of Kansas. BSN preferred.
•Must have CPR and ACLS certifications also.
•ED RN experience with good technical skills.
•Experience using CPSI documentation software will be an asset, to include nursing assessments, electronic MAR with bedside barcode scanning, and Computerized Physician Order Entry.
•Experience with EPOWERdoc software will be a plus, to include electronic triage, medication administration, and nursing documentation.
Hours and compensation potential:
•Position is full time
•Salary range is $40hr-$45hr depending on experience. A full benefit package including relocation/sign-on between $5K-$10K.
What you’ll be doing:
•Manages, supervises, and coordinates the operations of ER department by performing the needed duties.
•Selects, schedules, assigns staff, adjusting hours and shifts as necessary.
•Performs staff nurse duties 50% of assigned work week. Serves as the Trauma Coordinator, insuring compliance with requirements.
•Orients new staff and coordinates activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service connected to Simply the Best Standards.
Additional info:
Facility is acute care hospital under 50 beds and not for profit. They have 6 ER beds and the person will oversee about 15-20 staff members including the advanced providers who practice in the ER.
