Project Engineer

Salary: $70 - $100k per year DOE

Lewis Builders, a Design + Build firm located in Carmel, CA, is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team.

MISSION

The mission of the Project Engineer (PE) is to assist the Project Leader (PL) in the financial and technical development of a design concept, in the elaboration of the scope of work, in the conversion of the design and scope of work to a Construction Agreement, and in the project execution. The PE works closely with the Pre-construction team and Trade Partners to achieve the mission.

OUTCOMES

1. Rough trades are engaged during the Pre-construction phase and provided with a comprehensive scope of work and plan sets.
2. RFP's are managed and accurate budgets developed to achieve the project's target Gross Profit.
3. Long lead items orders are released in a timely manner.
4. Project resources (materials, trade partners, and LB field employees) are effectively managed and scheduled during Construction.
5. Assigned job sites are safe and clean (6S’d).

1. Mac computer proficient / tech savvy. Experienced in Google Suite, specifically Drive & Docs.
