Retrofit Solar Tech

Pay Rate: $33 -$37/ HOUR (DOE)

Shift: 7am (arrival on job site) until 4pm to 6pm (departure of job site) typically, 10–12-hour shifts, depending on job site and month during the coating season. Additional overtime as needed/ Overtime paid after 8 hours. Current need: 5-6 months estimated job duration. (May 2024-September/October 2024)

Job Description:

The candidate will help maintain the client’s robotic coating applicators, train operators in the field on how to use them, and oversee the safety and quality control of the coating projects in the field. Provide daily project reporting to the client’s project or program manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Maintain the Client’s robotic coating applicator machines both in the field on the job sites and during the non-coating season.

· Train operators to use the client’s robotic coating applicators in accordance with the client’s standard operating procedures.

· Ensure coating operations are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with the client’s standard operating procedures.

· Ensure coating operations produce quality coatings in accordance with the client’s standard operating procedures.

· Collect project data and provide reports on a daily basis to the client’s management and other designated project personnel.

· Perform other tasks as needed in support of the client’s solar retrofit coating business.

Essential Skills Required

· Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and system troubleshooting skills.

· Basic knowledge and prior experience working with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

· Able to train others in operating machines and following standard operating procedures.

· Experience in running projects in accordance with safety and quality control procedures.

· Able to demonstrate experience in using Microsoft Excel, processing data, and creating reports.

· Highly fluent in English with good communication skills.

· Able to travel and work long days in the field as needed.

· Able to lift and maneuver 50-60 lb. loads, including overhead, as needed (e.g. during team lifting of robotic coating applicators).

Other Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Must be available to work full time with flexibility.

· Must be able to pass a drug screening.
