Description:

Purpose of Position:

Provide support to contracts manager by providing quality customer service, and ensuring vehicle readiness, processing vehicle or equipment returns. A successful candidate must be a self-starter, with the ability to advance plan, and take ownership of a project to follow it through to completion with minimal supervision.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Ensure vehicles are checked out with all the proper equipment requested, are in good working order, and cleaned appropriately.
  • Checking in / out assets and ensuring that all damage is notated with proper documentation and photos are sent to contract manager.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery and pickup of vehicles from the airport and customers.
  • Greet clients at airport and assist with baggage, if needed
  • Maintain a clean workspace, such as the Airport kiosk/office and the designated shuttle vehicle.
  • Ensure inspection sheets are completed and signed by the customer before and after lease documents are signed.
  • Coordinate with customers and shop to maintain scheduled maintenance / repair.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance records are kept on all vehicles and report them to service
  • Keep parts and supplies in an organized system for quick retrieval when needed
  • Maintain & organize equipment on the pad, shop, and office areas at all times.
  • Keep keys organized on a key rack.
  • Snow removal in engine compartment and truck beds when needed as well as digging out vehicles with loader assistance.
  • Jump starting vehicle batteries when needed.
  • Assisting detailer and cleaning vehicles, if needed.
  • Perform weekly physical equipment inventory.
  • Ensure all company standards are met.
  • Plan and execute upcoming reservations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

- Must have the ability to multi-task

- Proficient with the use computers; including Windows and Microsoft Office

- Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record (copy of driving record to be provided prior to hire)

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

- Ability to take ownership of a project and follow it through to completion with minimal supervision

- Must be able to endure inclement weather, including extreme cold temperatures.

-Must have basic mechanical knowledge.


Communication and Teamwork:

- Must have the ability, and desire, to work as a team member and utilize good communication skills both in oral and written form.

- Must be able to effectively communicate and work with a variety of personalities


Physical Requirements and Agility:

- Ability to occasionally lift/carry objects weighing 50 lbs., bend and stoop to file.

- Must have the ability to walk up to 10,000 steps a day outside, sometimes in inclement weather.


Working Conditions:

The work is performed as a combination of outdoor and regular office environment but must be able and willing to work indoors and outdoors.
