Position: Apartment Laborer Location: Cleveland, TN

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing fixtures, and replacing flooring to ensure apartments are in excellent condition.
• Conduct routine inspections of units to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning, minor repairs, and coordinating with the leasing team.
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to maintain the functionality of apartment units.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, including hallways, laundry rooms, and recreation facilities.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Respond to resident service requests in a courteous and timely manner, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License Required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, custodial work, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
