WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• 21+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 5+ years of experience in general maintenance, construction, and carpentry work
• Sufficient strength and ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move, and carry heavy objects
• Valid Tennessee driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Personal tools for job use

YOUR DAY

As a Maintenance Team Member at Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System, you provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services. Your tasks range from skilled installation of flooring to carpentry work, plumbing repairs, and electrical maintenance. You ensure the smooth operation of laundry, kitchen, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units across various facilities. Painting and finishing both interior and exterior surfaces are also part of your responsibilities. Equipped with a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, you efficiently tackle each task. Additionally, you maintain records, provide routine reports to the Property/Facilities Manager, and are on-call for evening or weekend emergencies. This role offers you a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the community in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time technician role works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
