Machinist $20-$27-hour Temp-to-Perm Franklin, MA
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Summary Description:
- Designs, constructs, and upkeeps tools tailored for specific tasks.
- Utilizes manual and CNC machines to fabricate necessary tools.
- Operates milling, lathe, wire-EDM, and grinding machines.
- Transports tools between machines, weighing 50-70 lbs, and changes tools on machines, weighing 10 lbs.
- Conducts routine maintenance on machinery.
- Adheres to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Ensures compliance with ISO standards.
Requirements:
- High school graduate.
- Collaborates effectively with employees of all levels to fabricate necessary tools.
- Interfaces efficiently with external personnel such as vendors and service technicians.
- Possesses 4 years of experience in tool making.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
