Job Summary

This intern position will be a key player on our Maintenance Engineering team in our Rexburg manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to see the principles you are learning about in a real-world application.

This job role's main function is execute small projects, and write and train on technical documentation for our production operation.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for assisting in planning, coordination, and execution of specific tasks pertaining to assigned projects. Work is carried out under supervision of senior maintenance leader.
2. Accountable for assisting in planning, coordination and execution of lab and plant tests and experiments as needed for projects.
3. Apply Engineering fundamentals to assigned tasks including but not limited to reading and updating technical documents, executing smaller projects, and helping with preventative maintenance documentation.
4. Responsible for timely and effective communication of project activities to superiors and to internal customers, including Department and Facility Managers and project team associates.
5. Technical writing, with the ability to create SOPs, work instructions, and other needed documents.

Education and/or Experience

Must be a currently enrolled Student in an Engineering program.

This position is in Rexburg, Idaho.
