Role: PC / Deployment Technician

Duration: Until August 2023

Shift: M-F, 1st shift

 

Project Overview: is upgrading their EHR (Electronic Health Record) system in August 2023. In preparation for their Go-Live, TEKsystems will partner with to ensure their infrastructure meets the operational requirements of select software vender (Epic Systems). TEKsystems is needing a large team of tier I hardware technicians for all 5 phases of the project listed below.

 

will break the work into 5 Phases:

  1. Inventory: document all hardware and peripherals so the environment can be assessed and remediated to prepare for Epic Go-Live.
  2. Assessment: validate all hardware and peripherals meet or do not meet technical requirements to comply with the Epic EHR system.
  3. Deployment: install and deploy the newly acquired hardware and peripherals in preparation for Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and Epic Go Live.
  4. Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR): Epic capable devices need to be tested for all documented functions
  5. Go-Live Support: offer last minute deployment, testing, configuration or routing to sites and devices prior to Epic software cut over and production usage. In addition to activities immediately prior to ‘go-live’, this team is a surge support function for sites once on the software. This team takes direction from the command center and can be rapidly mobilized for onsite device troubleshooting and installation or reconfiguration.
