PLM Business/Program Director

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Carry out research and data collection to understand the organization; conduct analysis; identify issues and form hypotheses and solutions; derive insights, present findings and recommendations to clients

Interact with the clients, especially management and other stakeholders, develop relationships; ability to communicate fluently about a specific area (say IOT CCP related offerings, domain and current industry trends etc.)

Articulate technology trends, especially digital trends - breadth and depth, application with respect to manufacturing domain. Deep knowledge in at least one industry vertical such as - Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Telecom, Life Sciences, Consumer Products etc.

Run focus groups and facilitate workshops; steer debates and discussions

Prepare business proposals and presentations; respond to RFI/RFPs, ability to understand and address client's business needs, articulate solution approach

Gather requirements, understand customer needs, ability to question current methods and challenge them, suggest & implement recommendations/solutions

Interact and collaborate with technical/delivery teams; good interpersonal skills, estimate efforts and plan project execution

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and manage multiple task assignments, ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary

Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

Present Cognizant as a strategic advisor of choice for client business transformation initiatives

Requisite Skills

Excellent Communication skills - spoken, written and presentation; excellent command in English; any European local language will be an added advantage

Strong hands on skills on MS Office tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and other related toolsets

Willing to travel (ranges from 50% of time)

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any stream of Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Production/Instrumentation etc.)

MBA with specialization in any specific stream such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources etc.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 to $250,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
