The primary function of this position is to research, analyze, develop and trouble-shoot the software and systems across the Credit Union. Periodic contact with outside vendors and credit unions is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Test new and revised programs and enhancements as appropriate for various systems, including Symitar. Work with end users on developing rollout documentation. Prepare enhancement summaries on key changes.
  • Assist with routine tasks including month end/quarter end/year end or special requirements on the system and third party software, including job files, reports, member statement, credit report processing and tax files. After hours maintenance and upgrade processing may be required.
  • Review, test and coordinate updates to Symitar, Synergy and esign as provided from Jack Henry Associates.
  • Work within Synergy and esign to continuously provide efficient processes within each platform.
  • Liaison between First Source, Jack Henry Associates and integrated third party vendors.
  • Administer and maintain user permissions, templates and groups for the Credit Union. Coordinate the annual Symitar Certifications as well as review of other systems’ roles and permissions.
  • Work with Business Units to identify issues and needs as well as proactively make recommendations of systems, software and applications to meet business needs.
  • Serve as the intermediary between the business units and Information Systems when appropriate on project, implementations, upgrades, etc. Enlist the assistance of other Information Systems resources as needed.
  • Organize and maintain consistency within the Help Desk for ticket requests and escalated calls. Work with various business units to provide clarity on their requests and ensure a desired outcome for their requests.
  • Engage in project meetings as well as programming when needed to support the other Information Systems resources.
  • Work to maintain current, accurate procedures for Information Systems.
  • Provide back-up to other Information Systems Roles as needed
  • Required to participate in First Source Federal Credit Union events as well as designated Community events.
  • Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy, OFAC, and Privacy.
  • Required to attend training sessions as appropriate.
  • Required to travel as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • 2-5 years Symitar experience
  • Excellent communication skills
