The Opportunity

Catalis is searching for a Pricing Analyst to conduct in-depth research and analysis, develop pricing strategies, and enhance our competitive edge and profitability. You will work closely with various departments to gather data and insights, helping to inform pricing decisions that impact our software products and services. The successful candidate will be skilled in data mining, report generation, and data visualization, and will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues across the organization.

Minimal travel involved. Location can be Jacksonville, Florida; Tampa, Florida, Alpharetta, Georgia or Salem, Massachusetts.

What you will Do

Data Analysis: Analyze large sets of data, including historical pricing of won and lost deals, to draw meaningful insights and support pricing recommendations.

· Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement pricing strategies that align with our business goals as well as productization options for upsell modules/components.

· Pricing Tool Development: Create and maintain price lists and pricing calculators across the product portfolio.

· Price Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models to predict the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.

· Report Generation: Prepare and present pricing reports to stakeholders, providing clear explanations of findings and recommendations.

· Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior, and identify opportunities for pricing optimization.

· Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on pricing strategies used by competitors and make recommendations for adjustments to maintain our competitive edge.

· Pricing Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as necessary to maximize profit.

What you Will Need to Succeed

Required:

· Proficiency in data analysis and using data visualization tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

· Expertise in Microsoft Excel.

· Proficiency in PowerBI and other relevant data analysis software.

Preferred:

· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the software industry.

· Experience with pricing software and tools.

· Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

· Familiarity with software product pricing strategies.

· Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
