Our client, a small and employee focused insurance firm, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Commercial team!

We are seeking a skilled, growth-oriented Commercial Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Risk team as we continue to shape the future of insurance. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset and an appetite for disruption, we would like to hear from you.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • The Commercial Administrative Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the commercial lines teams. In their day to day, they issue certificates of insurance and auto ID cards, prepare renewal applications, prepare new/renewal submissions for carriers, request and follow up on endorsements, log policy and endorsement documents into our client management system, and evaluate audits for accuracy.
  • They prepare proposals and summaries—including proofreading, printing and binding—manage credentialing requests, send invoices to clients, follow up for payments as necessary, and provide research on prospective clients.
  • They also provide general office support and will handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of administrative and/or executive support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Experience in AMS or Applied preferred
  • Willingness to get licensed in Property & Casualty insurance preferred
  • Exceptional work ethic, with strong values and principles
  • Able to work well independently and with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable taking initiative to build efficiencies and accomplish goals
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • A firm commitment to the company’s success
  • Flexible, accommodating and able to go above and beyond the basic expectations when required
  • Effective follow-up and organizational skills
