Schedule: Full time- Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM

Our client is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to get in with one of the largest healthcare organizations on Long Island.

Skills/Requirements

• 2+ years' experience as a Medical Receptionist
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Job Description

• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Handling physician correspondence
• Preparing patient charts for visits
• Contacting insurance companies for referrals and authorizations
• Assisting patients with various needs when not providing direct patient care clinical support
