Description

Who we are looking for...

Cornerstone Servicing is looking for an experienced Loan Servicing QC Analyst! The QC Analyst will perform second line of defense quality control testing for Cornerstone Home Lending's mortgage loan servicing division. The QC auditor will be expected to perform quality control audits at the direction of the QC Manager to perform testing for compliance with all mortgage servicing laws and investor guidelines that include but are not limited to RESPA, TCPA, FCRA, SCRA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginne Mae, VA, and FHA. This position includes issuing QC findings, working with servicing team members to obtain responses to findings, and assisting with loan level remediation.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Perform QC testing scripts in ACES as assigned.
  • Review findings against the loan servicing system and imaging repository.
  • Issue QC findings to the loan servicing operational areas.
  • Work with loan servicing staff to close out QC findings and mitigate valid findings.
  • Mentor and assist assigned auditor/analyst as needed
  • Provide reports with validated findings to the QC Manager by pre-established deadline.
  • Maintain productivity as established by the QC Manager.
  • Ensure that red flags and suspicious activity are elevated to the QC Manger for review.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all mortgage servicing laws, agency, and investor guidelines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Cornerstone guidelines and overlays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience,
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage servicing operations, or quality control experience in the mortgage industry,
  • Familiar with Black Knight MSP, ACES Quality Management, and Quandis,
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State laws applicable to mortgage banking,
  • Familiar with mortgage servicing agency and investor quality control requirements,
  • Able to review and understand compliance and operational policies and procedures,
  • Strong experience in mortgage servicing file and document reviews,
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office,
  • Strong communication skills necessary to communicate with team members and senior management,
  • Strong research and computer skills,
  • Strong reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and
  • Ability to pay significant attention to details
