Title Research Analyst

Position: Title Research Analyst – Contract to Hire

Location: Downtown Denver

Salary: $25.00/HR

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00AM-6:00PM

About the Position: Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Title Research Analyst to join our client, a distinguished financial recovery firm, in Downtown Denver. This role is crucial for researching residential properties sold at mortgage foreclosure and tax sale auctions across the nation. The successful candidate will be integral to our sales process, ensuring the viability of our clients by providing accurate and detailed property title information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed research to establish the chain of title for properties, identifying both current and historical ownership (i.e. deeds, mortgages, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with and advise the sales and management teams by identifying key client contacts in order to ensure the accuracy and integrity of claim documents and internal records
• Engage in communication with county clerk offices as needed to retrieve necessary documentation
• Secure online and hard copy court or vital records as required
• Address and resolve issues such as discrepancies or incomplete information in property deeds
• Maintain rigorous documentation of research findings in internal databases and communicate effectively with team members to ensure information accuracy
• Execute additional clerical tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years’ relevant experience in title services as a researcher, examiner, abstractor, or other comparable role
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience in real estate or legal industries preferred
• Ability to type 40+ WPM
• Proficient in MS Suites, particularly in Word and Excel
• Excellent skills in interest research, probing, and data manipulation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical details clearly and professionally, both written and verbally
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with impeccable attention to detail
