Prototype CNC Machinist (MasterCAM and SolidWorks), Attleboro - $30-$35 hr.

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Prototype CNC Machinist to work first shift in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Hours are 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mon-Fri, with some flexibility. Hourly pay for this position is $30-$35. A higher rate is possible for very well qualified candidates.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in current version MasterCam and SolidWorks.
• At least 5 years' CNC experience.
• Experience working from blueprints, solid models, sketches, and verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical prints.
• Must own basic machinist hand tools.
• Conventional machining capability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

Tool and die-making, assembly, and/or 3D printing experiencing preferred but not required.

Duties:

• Design and construct tools, jigs, and fixtures for assembly and manufacturing needs to meet production schedules and objectives.
• Construct precision prototype parts and models from raw stock materials.
• Operate conventional machining equipment including Vertical Millers, Lathes, and Surface Grinders.
• Determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations.
• Setup and operate a wide variety of machinery.

This position will fabricate complex prototype models of components for testing by our product design group. The components may be fabricated from raw stock or modifying existing components. This position will also fabricate machine components in support of our in-house equipment design and build group. Must be capable of interfacing with engineering on design features, feasibility of fabrication, and maintaining tolerances. This candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of tool room equipment and fabrication and are comfortable with various measuring equipment.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
