CNC Machinist

We are seeking a career focused and skilled CNC Machinist for our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Fantastic opportunity with a growing company! The CNC Machinist will be part of a team responsible for the production and quality of tight tolerance machined part.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Modify machines with attachments, fixtures or specialized tooling to achieve different production capabilities
• Set up and maintain machine operations, lubricate workpieces and replace dull cutting tools
• Monitor and adjust machine controls manually if programming proves inaccurate or machine is malfunctioning

· Reviews work orders, blueprints, machining parameters, and interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)

· Operate CNC machinery including set-up, editing and programming ability

· Perform machining operations on CNC machine tools including shop floor programming and using such procedures as multiple setups, in place machining of fixtures, debugging first run programs

· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs

Skills & Qualifications

· High School diploma or GED

· 1 - 2 years direct machining experience in a manufacturing production environment

· Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures involving CNC machines

· Experience with CNC lathes or CNC Milling Machine required

· Ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings
