We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This is an onsite position supporting our pharmacies around Danville and Martinsville, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy  or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualification: 

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina
