REPORTS TO: EVENTS/FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Events and Banquet Coordinator will plan and execute all aspects of non-sporting events, catering functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Assists clients with questions about booking event/facility and closing business
- Coordinates and executes tasks based on the Event Operations Worksheet (EOW) in addition to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) for each event
- Assists with all aspects of event setup and tear-down
- Serves as the bar back for single/multiple bar stations during events
- Assists with catering responsibilities including food/buffet/beverage delivery, setup, serving, clearing, etc.
- Helps provide timely client and guest feedback to the Food & Beverage Coordinator
- Oversees and assists in post-event cleaning as needed
- Complete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by the Food & Beverage Management/Supervisory Team
- Relay important information about additional orders, allergies, and/or special requests
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of appropriate experience required
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays
- Must be age 21 or older
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions
- Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Facility has intermittent noise
